What is Kartik month

Kartik is a month in the Hindu calendar, usually falling between October and November. It's considered especially sacred for worship of Tulsi and Lord Vishnu.

Why Tulsi worship increases during Kartik

Many devotees take up extra Tulsi puja during this month, including lighting a lamp near the Tulsi plant each evening. Tulsi Vivah, the ceremonial marriage of Tulsi to Lord Vishnu, is also observed during this period.

A good time to start or renew your practice
